Health Practitioner- Lynn Morales, ND, CBP, ParBP, BAT
I am a health practitioner that deeply cares about my patients. My personal health journey started growing up in an allopathic medicine home; where my father was a surgeon and my mother was a nurse. I was very interested in medicine, but Dad discouraged that due to his own career fatigue. Instead, I studied business at Baylor University and was in Corporate America for more than 25 years exposing my body to more and more stress. In my late twenties, I started to experience health issues that had me question deep inside if I was really listening to my body as my career stress was taking a toll.
As that journey progressed, I started to learn how intelligent my body was in telling me root cause rather than just addressing symptoms. The secret to my success in my own journey has been through education. An education that made complete and total sense once I allowed the dots to connect and that taught me that my own body’s innate wisdom was far smarter than I had ever imagined.
My health practitioner training started soon after in 2000, as a bioenergetic practitioner I trained on a biofeedback machine to guide me to the body’s specific need for balancing. A lot of my training has been centered on the basics of how the body was intended to work; from nutritional needs to the very important aspect of emotional roots and the effect they play on disease and illness. Later, I began working with a hands on modality which enabled me to put aside the equipment and work strictly with facilitating the body’s healing process through energetic medicine or the body’s own energy field. This freed me to be able to work on anyone in need, at any given time, with no limitation due to needing my equipment to measure the body’s stressors.health if it makes sense and they understand how all the pieces connect.
I later obtained my Naturopathic Doctorate through Trinity College of Natural Health. This allowed me to study a wide range of modalities such as herbology, flower essence therapy, reflexology, homeopathy and iridology just to name a few. In late 2004, I was introduced to BodyTalk. I felt a desire to use a modality that would allow me to work with my clients on all levels; physical, emotional and spiritual and would not tie me to equipment or supplements. I am a certified BodyTalk practitioner and PaRama College graduate for advanced BodyTalk. I feel these studies work beautifully together to allow me to meet my clients’ needs where they are, as opposed to a cookie cutter approach of treating a list of symptoms.
I absolutely love the work I do and really enjoy working with clients that are as excited about their journey as I am. One of the best ways to explain the joy of the journey is through my blog around these sessions called,
